You choose how the ends are finished: TL (a tumble bar and a ladder), TT (a tumble bar each end) or LL (a ladder each end).

BERG builds the frame in steel and powder-coats it over a zinc layer. Monkey-bar rungs run the length of the top. The frame carries the CE mark.
The letters say what finishes the two ends of the frame. T is a tumble bar and L is a ladder. So TL is a tumble bar and a ladder, TT is a tumble bar at both ends, and LL is a ladder at both ends, the version for monkey-bar style climbing. Each has its own price.
Buy a set and the frame comes with its accessories as a single product. BERG makes 4 sets on the Medium, the lowest priced at €1,567. One of them, the Sports set, is fitness equipment for ages 14 and over.

Swing seats or a nest swing, depending on the frame.

Two swing seats, gym rings and a trapeze.

Boxing bag, pull-up bar, dip bar, resistance bands and fitness rope.

Swing seat, basketball hoop, gym rings and climbing wall.
Everything clips to the carabiner points, so what hangs there can change as the children do. The full accessory list and prices are on the PlayBase page.
PlayBase Wall: one size down, at €999. It is only 1.2m wide because it hangs on a load-bearing wall and does not stand on the lawn. It has 3 carabiner points and cannot take the platform and slide.
PlayBase Large: one size up, with prices from €1,599. At 3.8m across it has 6 carabiner points and room for three swing-type accessories at a time. It is also the one frame the hammock fits.
The guide to choosing a PlayBase works through the decision step by step.
The Medium stands on its own. Base sections anchored in the ground hold it, and no concrete goes in. It needs a level place to stand. County Monaghan is drumlin country and plenty of gardens slope, so measure the level part of yours, not the whole lawn.
How much free space the frame needs around it is set out in BERG's manual. Send us photos and measurements and we check your garden against it in the free consultation.
Delivery in Monaghan and Cavan is free, by Clontibret Transport of Cashel, Castleblayney. The boxes come on a pallet to the kerbside and you bring them in. A frame in stock is delivered within 48 hours; otherwise allow typically 7 to 10 days. We do not install or assemble. BERG's manual covers assembly, and we can put you in touch with an independent installer who quotes you directly. See the delivery page.
They tell you what is at each end of the frame. T stands for tumble bar and L for ladder, so TL has one of each, TT has two tumble bars and LL has two ladders, which suits monkey-bar style climbing. The versions are priced differently and all three prices are shown above.
It holds two swing-type accessories at a time on its 4 carabiner points, so two children can swing together. For three at once, look at the Large.
No. Base sections anchored in the ground hold the frame. There is no concrete involved.
It needs level ground to stand on. Measure the level part of the garden and send us photos, and we will tell you whether the Medium fits there. We do not install or level ground ourselves.
From €1,349 for the frame, depending on the ends. A set, with accessories included, starts at €1,567. Delivery in Monaghan and Cavan is free.
