BERG PlayBase Wall in Monaghan
Not every garden has a level stretch of lawn to spare. The PlayBase Wall is BERG's answer: a frame 1.2m wide that fixes to a wall of the house, the garage or a solid shed. Of the four PlayBase frames it is the smallest and the only wall-mounted one. The price is €999, and it comes in Black or Green.
There are 3 carabiner points on it, enough for one or two swing-type accessories at a time.

Accessories the Wall takes
- The swings: swing seat (€39), baby seat, nest swing, trapeze and gym rings, with one or two in use at a time.
- The climbing wall (€399) and the basketball hoop.
- The pull-up bar, dip bar, boxing bag, fitness rope and resistance bands, all for ages 14 and over.
Accessories it does not take
- The platform and slide. It needs one of the free-standing frames.
- The hammock. It is made for the Large frame only.
- The climbing net and the soccer goal. Both come in M, L and XL for the free-standing frames.
Everything clips to the carabiner points, so what hangs there can change as the children do. The full accessory list and prices are on the PlayBase page.
The Wall against the other frames
PlayBase Medium: one size up, with prices from €1,349. It stands on the lawn rather than on a wall, measures 2.85m across, has 4 carabiner points and holds two swing-type accessories at a time. It also takes the platform and slide and a climbing net. It is the one to look at if you have level lawn, or no wall that will do.
The guide to choosing a PlayBase works through the decision step by step.
Ground, delivery and assembly
The wall has to be load-bearing brick or block: the house, a garage, a solidly built shed. A fence, a timber panel or a hollow partition is not strong enough. Because the frame hangs on the wall and not on the lawn, it is worth a look for a sloping site where a free-standing frame has nowhere level to stand. Not sure about the wall? Send us a photo.
How much free space the frame needs around it is set out in BERG's manual. Send us photos and measurements and we check your garden against it in the free consultation.
Delivery in Monaghan and Cavan is free, by Clontibret Transport of Cashel, Castleblayney. The boxes come on a pallet to the kerbside and you bring them in. A frame in stock is delivered within 48 hours; otherwise allow typically 7 to 10 days. We do not install or assemble. BERG's manual covers assembly, and we can put you in touch with an independent installer who quotes you directly. See the delivery page.
