Trampolines and Monaghan gardens
Drumlin slopes
This is drumlin country, so a garden that slopes is nothing unusual. BERG asks for level ground, with 2 m clear at the sides and 7 m overhead. Measure the level part of the garden, not the whole lawn. A sloping spot has to be levelled before any trampoline goes on it.
Slow-draining ground
Monaghan County Council's Landscape Character Assessment says the glacial till "is very dense and water cannot percolate through very easily", and that "the land is wet and difficult to drain". For an InGround or FlatGround trampoline, the installer has to judge the drainage on your own ground.
Wind
Ballyhaise, over the county boundary in Cavan, recorded a 115 km/h gust during Storm Éowyn on 24 January 2025. BERG's advice for a trampoline on legs is to anchor it and to take the net down before a forecast storm.

Delivery or collection
Clontibret Transport brings the order on a pallet to the kerbside. We confirm the date when you order. If you would sooner collect from our Monaghan warehouse, ring first and we will arrange a time.
Step 4
Putting it up
We supply and deliver; we do not assemble or install. BERG's manual covers assembly. An InGround or FlatGround needs groundwork, and we can pass you the details of an independent installer who quotes directly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you deliver to my town in Co. Monaghan?+
Yes. We deliver throughout County Monaghan, including Monaghan town, Carrickmacross, Castleblayney, Clones, Ballybay, Emyvale, Glaslough, Inniskeen and Rockcorry, and across Co. Cavan as well. Delivery is free on orders over €300 and €11.99 below that. Go-karts ship free. A model that is in stock is delivered within 48 hours; if it is not, allow 7 to 10 days as a rule. We confirm the date when you order.
Who delivers the trampoline, and how does it arrive?+
In Monaghan and Cavan the delivery is made by Clontibret Transport of Cashel, Castleblayney, a member of The Pallet Network. The order comes on a pallet and is left at the kerbside. You bring the boxes into the garden yourself, and the pallet is yours to keep. Tell us about any damage within 24 hours. Orders for Dundalk and Co. Louth are carried by Breffni Couriers of Drogheda.
Can I collect from your warehouse instead?+
Yes, by appointment. Our warehouse is in Co. Monaghan and it is not open to walk-in visitors, so ring 047 67255 first and we will agree a time and make sure the model you want is there.
Will an in-ground trampoline work on Monaghan ground?+
It can, but the ground decides. Much of the county sits on dense glacial till that drains slowly, and BERG says an in-ground trampoline needs adequate drainage and a check of the ground-water level. That is for the installer to assess in your garden before anything is dug. If the site turns out to be unsuitable, an above-ground model needs no digging at all.
Do you install or assemble trampolines in Monaghan?+
No. We supply and deliver. BERG's manual covers assembly of an above-ground trampoline. For an InGround or FlatGround we can put you in touch with an independent installer, who looks at the garden and gives you a price directly.
What does a BERG trampoline cost?+
