BERG InGround trampolines in Monaghan
An InGround trampoline is sunk into the lawn so that only a low rim shows above the grass. Children step on without a ladder, and from the kitchen window you see far less of it than you would of a trampoline on legs. BERG builds it in the Favorit, Champion and Elite ranges, in round, oval and rectangular shapes, and you choose each size with a safety net or without.
The cheapest is €339 and the dearest €1,949. One thing matters more in County Monaghan than in most places: the ground. Much of the county sits on dense clay that drains slowly, so read the section on Monaghan ground before you settle on a sunken trampoline.

In-ground trampolines and Monaghan ground
County Monaghan is drumlin country, and the soil that comes with drumlins is not kind to holes in the ground. Monaghan County Council's Landscape Character Assessment puts it plainly: the glacial till "is very dense and water cannot percolate through very easily", and so "the land is wet and difficult to drain".
That matters because an InGround trampoline sits over a hollow. BERG's manual tells whoever fits it to make sure there is "adequate drainage" for rain water, and to check that a high ground-water level will not let water gather underneath.
Whether your garden passes that test is something only a person standing in it can say. Two gardens on the same road can behave differently, depending on the slope and on where the water goes after heavy rain. So the order of events we suggest is this: have an installer, landscaper or builder look at the spot first, then choose the model. If the ground is against you, an above-ground trampoline needs no digging at all.

Every InGround size, with and without a net
A word on BERG's naming: a "Grand" is an oval, an "Ultim" is a rectangle and "SPORTS" marks a model supplied without a net. We list the grey version of each. Other colours exist, so ask.

Champion and Elite share their springs and jumping mat. What Elite adds is heavier tubing in the frame and a 5 year warranty on the padding, where Champion's is 2 years. When an InGround is the right choice
It suits a household that wants the trampoline kept low and is happy to have groundwork done, but does not need it perfectly flush with the grass. Of the two sunken types it has the wider choice: it is the only one made in the Favorit range and the only one made as an oval.
The net is your call. Take the model with a net if you want one, or the SPORTS version if you would sooner keep the lawn open. The trampoline underneath is the same.
The other two types
A FlatGround has no rim at all and finishes level with the lawn. Prices begin at €699, in Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer, round or rectangular.
BERG does not make its top range, the Pro Bouncer, as an InGround. It is a FlatGround or an above-ground trampoline.
A trampoline on legs involves no digging and is always supplied with a net. Browse every BERG trampoline we sell.
Delivery in Monaghan and Cavan
Clontibret Transport of Cashel, Castleblayney, a member of The Pallet Network, brings the trampoline on a pallet and leaves it at the kerbside. Getting the boxes to the garden is up to you, and the pallet is yours to keep. Orders over €300 are delivered free, so every trampoline is. We deliver, an installer digs
Trampolines Ireland supplies and delivers. We do not install. An independent installer, landscaper or builder does the groundwork, after seeing the garden and giving you their own quote. Ring 047 67255 if you would like us to put you in touch with one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will an InGround trampoline work on heavy Monaghan clay?+

Not us. We sell the trampoline and have it delivered. The digging and fitting are done by an independent installer, a landscaper or a builder, who visits, prices the job and works to BERG's manual. If you do not know anyone, ask and we will pass on the details of an independent installer.
InGround or FlatGround: which is which?+
Both are sunk into the lawn. An InGround keeps a low rim standing above the grass. A FlatGround finishes flush with it. InGround comes in Favorit, Champion and Elite and in round, oval and rectangular shapes. FlatGround comes in Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer, round or rectangular, with no oval.
Can I have a net on an InGround trampoline?+
Yes. Each InGround size is sold two ways: with a safety net, or without one under BERG's SPORTS name. The table on this page gives both prices side by side.
What does a BERG InGround trampoline cost?+
Between €339 and €1,949, according to range, shape, size and net. That is the trampoline only. The groundwork is priced separately by whoever does it.
How is an InGround trampoline delivered in Monaghan?+
On a pallet, to the kerbside, by Clontibret Transport of Cashel, Castleblayney. You bring the boxes into the garden yourself. Delivery is free on every trampoline. Models in stock are delivered within 48 hours, and others typically take 7 to 10 days.
